草榴社区 Engines Appoints Ralph Haberli as President

Santa Clara, CA 鈥 June 9, 2025 鈥 (EFE), the nation鈥檚 leading independent wealth planning1 and workplace2 investment advisory firm, today announced the appointment of Ralph Haberli as President, effective July 2, 2025. He will report directly to CEO Jay Shah.

Haberli brings expertise in the workplace ecosystem and a strong track record of building partnerships across the wealth planning landscape. He also has a unique understanding of how RIAs operate, grow and serve the needs of their planners and, most importantly, their clients.

In his new role, Haberli will lead EFE鈥檚 workplace, employee planning, and wealth planning businesses. He will focus on enhancing the firm鈥檚 workplace offering, expanding advisor capabilities, and strengthening its national footprint. His extensive background in retirement鈥攊ncluding working with recordkeepers, plan sponsors, advisers and consultants鈥攚ill be especially valuable to the more than 600 large employers and 10 million employees EFE serves.

Haberli most recently served as President of the Institutional & Retirement Client Group at Capital Group, where he led a period of significant growth to bring the firm to a broader set of clients with an expanded set of capabilities and solutions. Prior to that, he held senior roles at BlackRock, including Head of U.S. Defined Contribution Distribution and COO of the Global Client Group. He also led strategy for Asia-Pacific iShares and began his career at Boston Consulting Group advising top financial institutions.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University鈥檚 Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in History from Yale University.
